Uranium Star Corp. (OTCBB:URST) (FRANKFURT:YE5) (the “Company”) is pleased to announce that the Special and Annual Meeting of its Stockholders was held in Toronto, Ontario, Canada on December 9, 2009.

At the meeting, holders of more than 97.9% of the outstanding common stock cast at the meeting voted to approve the election of the following persons to serve as directors of the Company, each to hold office for a term expiring at the next annual meeting of stockholders or until his or her successor is duly elected and qualified:

Three other matters were submitted to the Company’s stockholders for their approval. The Company is pleased to announce the following voting results:

• holders of 98.6% of the common stock cast at the meeting voted to change the Company’s name from “Uranium Star Corp.” to “Energizer Resources Inc.” and to authorize the Company’s Board of Directors, in their discretion, to complete, postpone or abandon this change to the Company’s name if so warranted;

• holders of 75.4% of the common stock cast at the meeting voted to approve and ratify the Company’s Amended and Restated 2006 Stock Option Plan previously approved by the Company’s Board of Directors on September 29, 2009;

• holders of 98.9% of the common stock cast at the meeting voted to ratify the appointment of MSCM LLP, Chartered Accountants, as the Company’s independent registered public accounting firm for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2010.
