Uranium Star Formally Applies for TSX Venture Exchange Listing; Further Strengthens Management Team for Green Giant Vanadium Project

oronto, Ontario – September 9th, 2009 – Uranium Star Corp. (the “Company”) (OTCBB:URST) (FRANKFURT:YE5) announces it has formally applied for issuer status on the TSX Venture Exchange (TSX-V), and has further strengthened the development team for its Green Giant Vanadium Project in Madagascar.

Application to TSX Venture Exchange Complete

The listing application process is being led by Fraser Milner Casgrain, LLP. As required by the TSX Venture Exchange, Clarus Securities will serve as listing sponsor for Uranium Star’s listing application.

The listing process follows a specific format as outlined by the TSX Venture Exchange, and the Company believes it has now completed the necessary elements in the listing application. As part of the listing requirements, the Company has completed a NI 43-101 Report on the Green Giant Vanadium Project – a key piece of the listing process.

The Company cautions that this listing process is exacting and defined, and is hopeful that a conditional listing approval will be awarded in the near future.

Uranium Star will keep both its Frankfurt (FWB:YE5) and NASDAQ Bulletin Board (OTCBB:URST) listings, as the Company deems it important that this tri-listing on the TSX-V, FWB and OTCBB will provide the Company’s existing shareholders with their current requested desire to operate within all three exchanges.
