Specifically, 47% of SuperFlake® graphite concentrate is classified as small flake size that is used in the production of lithium-ion batteries for EVs.

CSPG

CSPG (Coated Spheronized Purified Graphite) is used in the production of lithium-ion battery anodes. NextSource can provide cell manufacturers and OEMs with a complete and proven anode solution using feedstock and value-added processing independent of the Chinese supply chain.

CSPG is made from flake graphite concentrate such as those produced at the Molo Mine. NextSource’s Battery Anode Facility (BAF) will use established Intellectual Property licensed from leading international producers to meet stringent product quality requirement.

CSPG is the final form of natural graphite required for use in lithium-ion batteries and is the graphite product that OEMs wish to source directly.

NextSource has an exclusive licence to best-in-class processing IP for spheronized, purified graphite (SPG) that is currently used in multiple automotive (OEM) supply chains (Tesla and Toyota) and for a verified coating IP to produce coated SPG (CSPG).
