A Very Large, High-Grade Resource
with Easy Expansion Capabilities

NextSource owns the Molo Graphite Mine (Molo) in the Province of Toliara, Southern Madagascar, one of the world’s largest and highest quality graphite deposits.

The Molo mine is fully permitted and has begun production, with Phase 1 mine operations currently being optimized to reach their nameplate production capacity of 17,000 tpa of SuperFlake® graphite concentrate.

Phase 1 is powered by a solar-hybrid power plant (solar + battery energy storage) that is expected to reduce CO2 emissions by over 11,300 tonnes/year. Molo is accessible by an all-weather airstrip and a network of regional roads, which allows access to the ports of Toliara and Ehoala at Fort Dauphin.

NextSource has long-term offtakes with established industrial partners that account for more than 100% of the expected Phase 1 production of SuperFlake® graphite concentrate and CSPG from the Company’s planned Battery Anode Facility in Mauritius.

Over 300 km of linear graphite mineralization has been identified on NextSource’s property surrounding the Molo project, providing virtually unlimited expansion opportunity to meet potential global demand. A significant expansion to 150,000 tpa of SuperFlake™ graphite concentrate is supported by the Feasibility Study completed in December 2023.
